Test Roll Update

Got back my first roll of film back from Horn Photo my local camera supply shop. Anyway’s I was just nervous buying an old camera (Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic 35mm SLR) and not knowing if the timing is close at all to normal or if the shutter is slow or sticky. Needles to say the roll came out awesome!

I used and old GE Golden Crown Exposure Meter for metering most the shots and finished the roll at our local park using the ol sunny 16 rule.

Good pics. You make me want to find an Olympus camera with film in it and take some too.

    • So glad you enjoyed my post Guide Fleury,

I love it, there’s no digital cameras that has the feel, beauty and detail like an old film camera. You just have to have patients and be ok with a little grain. There is no better feeling than finishing a roll of film and wondering how everything came out.
Hope I inspire some readers to go find a cheep 35mm or 120 film camera at the local thrift store/online and just have fun with photography.
